Our History
Southeast Veterinary Specialists is a referral center for special needs. We originally opened in February of 2000 with the specialties of Surgery and Dermatology. We quickly outgrew our older location, and began plans for our current 19,000 square foot facility prior to Hurricane Katrina. After more than a 2 year delay, we moved into our new facility in February of 2008.
We currently provide the disciplines of Surgery, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Physical Rehabilitation with the only team of board certified doctors in the greater New Orleans area. This means we are uniquely qualified to handle the most complicated medical and surgical cases.
